Beautifully illustrated, I would have liked it better if Christopher Tolkien had settled on one version (the one that best fit in with LOTR) and stuck to telling it in a straightforward manner.
And I was very upset with the version that portrayed cats as evil. (Tevildo Prince of Cats)
