When a prominent actress is being blackmailed she hires Elvis Cole to find out if the blackmailer is telling the truth about her parentage. The case carries him to Baton Rouge Louisianan where he stumbles across illegal immigrants being brought into the country and sometimes killed. With the help of Joe Pike he will put a stop to the human trafficking.
