Every time a white person confronts a black person it's not racist. Honestly if you do something thoughtless like block a sidewalk or a road no matter what color your skin, you can hardly be surprised if someone calls you out on it.
From what I can tell about the issue. Franci Neely was out walking her dog in the park in her neighborhood when she stumbled across a family BLOCKING THE SIDEWALK in order to take some photos of their one year old daughter. They had props and everything so this wasn't taking a few quick snaps and moving on type deal this was a set up for an hour or more photo shoot, and didn't belong on a PUBLIC SIDEWALK.
Now Franci is being lambasted in public media because she confronted the family and asked them to stop blocking the sidewalk. Why didn't she simply walk off the sidewalk into the grass people ask and go around the family??? Well why didn't the family set the photo shoot up in the grass is a better question? The sidewalk is designed for people to walk on, it's where people are suppose to walk and it seems rather idiotic for people to set up a photo shoot in the middle of a sidewalk, would you have the same sympathy for them if they had decided to set their photo shoot up in the middle of the road? Would you be asking why motorist didn't simply drive up on the sidewalk or the grassy median to go around them?
Then she gets lambasted because after the confrontation she gets in her car and drives away. Well what was she suppose to do? Why was it OK for the family to drive to the park for a photo shoot, but it's not OK that Franci Neely drove to the park to walk her dog?
It also seems like the family escalated the confrontation. From what I can tell from the video (and who immediately whips out their cell phone to video someone???) Franci approached and asked them to move out of the way, they started screaming at her about lawsuits and suing her ass and she started screaming back, then they stick the phone in her face and she bats it out of the way. Neither party comes off looking very well.
