In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin by Erik LarsonMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
Dodd himself seems to be a pretty boring character the book is saved from dullness by his daughters slutty behavior and the events covered in the book. It's very depressing to read about the sheer hatred the Nazis displayed and the willingness of the rest of the world to turn a blind eye to the atrocities that lead up to WWII.
