The tub rusted around the drain, so it had to be replaced. As you can see the Master Bath is very small. The new tub couldn't be wider than 30" due to the door frame. It fits right up against the door at 30". It was challenging to find a tub this small, as most of the standard tubs seem to be wider these days.
While we were at it we decided to replace the vanity. It's also right against the door on the other side. I had to laugh when I looked on Pinterest Boards that were labeled Ideas for Small Bathrooms, they were all palatial compared to our very modest bathroom. I guess it is X-small.
I liked the idea the cabinet people came up with to replace the cabinet on the left with 3 large drawers and to recess them slightly so there would be more room.
This is the color they will be.
We finally found a nice deep 30" wide Kohler Tub.
They seemed to be the only brand that had the size we needed. So at the moment the Master Bath, can't be used. We are waiting for the tile that is on order to come in, once it is installed hopefully the vanity will be finished (it's a custom piece but it has been or order for awhile). And I will finally get to take a bath in my new tub. ~Alasandra

Bathroom Remodel ~ The Mirror
Bed Bath and Beyond had these towels on Clearance plus a friend gave me a 25% off on the entire order coupon, so these nice Slate Bath Towels, Washcloths, and Hand Towels now have a home in the Master Bath.
The mirror is framed in the same wood as the vanity and stained to match.
I really love the mirror.
It looks perfect with the vanity.
Having the vanity set back has really opened up the bathroom and it feels so much more spacious. And this sounds odd, but I actually have more room for storage in the new vanity. I am very pleased with it.
If you are willing to wait and have the time then I can't recommend Mercier's Cabinet and Woodworking enough. They do excellent work.

All we lack is a mirror
The walls were repainted light blue. Technically it's considered an off white color, but it looks light blue to me.
The granite counter top with the under-mount sink was installed. I am really loving it, it makes clean up so easy.
I found these cute bags to keep my makeup in.
Bo taped around the shower so he didn't get paint on the tile.
I found this light fixture at Overstock.com. I just love it.
Bo also got new light switches and outlet. I particularly like the outlet it has a nightlight built into it.
Bo got the sink faucet installed. I just love the sleek polished chrome design of the faucets, it makes cleaning them so much easier.
I got the towel bar that matches the faucets. It's a Kohler Coralais 24" Towel Bar in Polished Chrome.
Bo painted the trim for the door and put it back up.
And finally the commode was reinstalled. it's the only thing from the old bathroom. I found the neat Toilet Paper Holder at Ross'.
The cute wicker magazine holder was at Marshalls on clearance. I was hesitant about the dark brown color (I would have preferred white), but it actually compliments the decorative towels I found at Kohls nicely.
The toothbrush holder, cup, soap dish and dispenser are Lenox Butterfly Meadow.
This small makeup mirror is a temporary fix until we get our bathroom mirrow.
Wamsutta® Toilet Lid Cover in Slate from Bed Bath & Beyond. I got it and the matching towels on Clearance + a 20% off on the entire order coupon thanks to my walking buddy. The towels are so luxurious I feel like I am at a spa when I get out of the shower. The Bathmat was on sale at Kohl's. And I just adore the cat toilet brush holder hiding over in the corner. I found it at Bed Bath & Beyond.
The Decorative Towels I got at Kohl's the same day I purchased the bathmat
I just love my vanity. The drawers give me so much more space. I can actually get everything inside the vanity. I love having all the storage.
And the extra floor space makes the bathroom feel larger.
This is perfect for storing Q-tips and cottonballs
The shower curtain is Lenox Butterfly Meadow too. The crotchet Butterfly was made by my Great-Aunt and I had it in the bedroom before. I may get a different color for the back as the blue doesn't really stand out.
Lots of space in the shower for everything. I just love that.
I am very pleased with the Master Bath remodel even though it seemed to take forever. All we lack now is the bathroom mirror and I think (fingers crossed) we will be getting it soon.

Before and we got the floor (April)
The first step in our kitchen/entry way/ Dining Room remodel was the floors. First Bo had to get them clean. The laminate flooring was fairly easy to remove but the old vinyl that was probably what was put in when the house was built was a pain. Bo had to scrape it up.
So cerement floors while we waited for the tile.
The wall paper is also coming down and the light is getting replaced in the entry way.
The border in the kitchen was also removed.
And the wall paper in the Dining Room.
I got to go pick out granite for the new counter tops. My choice was Volga Blue. Volga Blue Granite is a stunning stone that has earned its reputation as one of the most attractive stones on the market. It is quarried in limited quantities in Ukraine. It almost looks like an opal to me or Mother of Pearl. As you can see it has blue/green and even a tad of purple spots in it. And then there is the silver swirls with a touch of bronze hidden in it. There is a lot of color and movement in this granite.
We had to take everything out of the cabinets. It's very hard to do a complete remodel when you are living in the house.
The floors are getting prepped. A water proof barrier is being put down.
The Tile is here. The Tile is Tesoro Rox Series Color Dust
And the paint is here. I love Valspar's 2018 Colors of the Year. Glass Slippers for the Laundry Room, Emerald Ice for the Kitchen and top of the Dining Room and Flood Tide for the bottom of the Dining Room and Family Room (which is the next remodel and the one we are on now), Tempered Gray for the Entry Way and Urban Sunrise which I have to say I prefer it's name Frisky Whiskers at Ace Hardware and Kitty Whiskers at Independent Retailers to the name Lowe's stuck it with. Anyway the Urban Sunrise/Kitty Whiskers is the trim.
The tile is getting laid.
This is what the kitchen looks like without cabinets.
The tile was laid by Moore's Floors.
The is the Glass Slippers with the Urban Sunrise/Kitty Whiskers trim.
I discovered my Note 5 was perfect for taking a picture and then scribbling on it.
There is going to be a wall for my microwave cabinet, then a pass through then a wall where the cook top is then another pass through.
Sorry I am so late with sharing the remodel. It looks beautiful and I can't wait for you to see it finished. ~Alasandra

The Rox collection is the newest generation of digital ink jet technology tile. The soft yet dramatic graphics give this series an authentic earthy look. The Dust color is interesting as it is a mix of neutrals and seems to change color depending on the light.
This porcelain tile has similar characteristics found in a slab of honed granite. Large chunks of blue grey and pearly white are scattered throughout filled in with smaller swirls of speckled tan and cream. It's the same tile I have in the Master Bath.
