Ava is obsessed with finding her two year old son Noah who went missing two years ago (he is 4 when the story starts) but everyone else on the island she calls home thinks she should just get over it. Especially her husband Wyatt he threatens to have Ava committed.
But slowly Ava is starting to remember what happened in the past including Wyatt's infidelities and the fact she was planning to divorce him when Noah went missing. When a sexy stranger arrives on the island everything starts to change for the better for Ava.
