This book starts out a little differently as we know the identity of the killers from the beginning. Ella-Loo and Darryl are soul mates who just want to follow Ella-Loo's dream to live in New York City. When they leave Oklahoma fate intervenes when their piece of junk truck breaks down and they try to boost a ride. Turns out they get off on the killing and they can't wait to do it again and again.

Then they arrive in New York and Dallas is hot on their trail after they kill a young musician. The only question is can Dallas find them in time to save the lives of their two latest victims.
