Basil & Roses


Basil

I know you aren't really suppose to let the herbs flower if you are going to use them in cooking, but I can't resist letting at least some of the herbs flower.

Nice delicate rose. I am planting the bush this rosebud came off in my rose garden.

Playing around with the camera. Didn't exactly get the effect I was aiming for.

    I know!

    I let mine go to flower for a bit then clipped them back -

    They are too pretty NOT to enjoy!

    I like Basil flowers too...I assume they are edible?

    We don't know if the flowers are edible, but the leaves are.
