My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lindsey's marriage to Joe is severely tested when she discovers in the worst way possible that he has been keeping a HUGE secret from her.
The book begins with the murder of Michael Chan and from the beginning everything seems off. Not only is Michael Chan murdered, but so are the two young people in the room next door who were spying on him and the only clue is a mysterious blond who was in his room just before he was shot. Then Michael Chan's wife is executed and the case gets even more bizarre when Lindsey spots Joe on the surveillance tape.
But before Lindsey and Richie can solve the case they are sidetracked by the crash of flight 888, who had a Michael Chan as a passenger. When the body from the crash goes missing Lindsey becomes convinced the two cases are connected.
With a missing husband and a young daughter to care for the last thing Lindsey needs is to become a target of the five Chinese hitmen who are determined to take her out.
Desperate to find answers Lindsey digs into Joe's past and discovers that he is working for the CIA.
