Miracle at Augusta by James Patterson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Not really into golf so all the golf talk bored me, but the human interest angle was interesting.
Travis becomes friends with his long time nemesis Stump after they get in a fight, which results in Travis being suspended from the Golf Tournament. When Earl's caddy is in an accident Travis offers to caddy for him and does a much better job than anyone expects. Travis also befriends a young teenage boy (Jerzy) whose family immigrated from Bucharest and stops the other teenagers from picking on him. He eventually teaches Jerzy how to play golf, and Jerzy exceeds everyone's expectations. Travis friends stand up for him and Travis is re-instated to the Golf Tournament.
