My rating: 5 of 5 stars
When Ariel Kirkwood gets the part based on screenwriter Booth DeWitt's cruel ex-wife she soon finds herself falling for the handsome screenwriter. Charmed by her honesty Booth soon finds himself returning her feelings. But when the ex-wife learns of Ariel's success she is determined to destroy her. The private detective she hires to follow Ariel around sells a sensationalized story to the tabloids accusing Ariel of being in a custody battle for her love child.
Booth is dismayed that Ariel could have kept something so important from him, but quickly overcomes his feelings of dismay when the child goes missing.
